About

I am a philosopher researching the intersections of philosophy of race and moral responsibility. I am an Assistant Professor in Grossmont College’s philosophy department. I completed my doctorate at UC Riverside under the supervision of Dr. Myisha Cherry and my dissertation is titled Collective Responsibility for Oppression: Making Sense of State Apologies and Other Practices.

I mostly teach introduction courses but also teach specialized courses such as Latin American Philosophy. I have also taught courses in Race and Gender, Social and Political Philosophy, and Critical Thinking in various other colleges.

My work has been published in Public Philosophy Journal, Teaching Philosophy, and 1000-Word Philosophy.
